Why do you want to adopt from Ethiopia? This questions is asked many times and we are excited to answer it. First, every child is special, unique, and made in the image of God and there is not a child that is more deserving than another to have a family. It does not take long to fall in love with Ethiopia and the people there. In Africa 5,760 children are orphaned every day (every 15 seconds a child is left with out a family). Ethiopia has more orphaned children than there are people in the greater New York area. We believe every child that is orphaned is in need of a family and the bottom-line is that we have prayed and feel that God has opened our hearts and the doors for us to adopt a child from Ethiopia.
